Declutter means to remove all your items from the desk. You can keep them aside. In simple words, it can also refer to as sorting.
Next is Making up an image of how it looks:
You can visualize or imagine how your desk looks like. I suggest you make a rough sketch of items on your desk and how they will be arranged.
After that, Making a Checklist for new and old items:
This means to make a note of what you have, what you'll be disposing of, and what you'll buy. It also includes the price of items and the total items you'll be buying.
